Clara McNeil

is a Grade 9 student at West Niagara Secondary School who picked up the alto sax in Grade 8—but once she met the tenor sax, it was love at first honk. Since starting high school, she’s been hooked on its rich, bold sound and hasn’t looked back. Clara has a growing passion for jazz and loves exploring its wide range of styles, rhythms, and moods. She performs in a variety of school and community ensembles, where she continues to grow as a musician and brings plenty of energy, curiosity, and a vibrant musical voice to every performance.
