KHEA EMMANUEL

The daughter of legendary Motown artist Leroy Emmanuel, Khea has all the key ingredients that spell nothing less than success. Her love for the arts and creativity are deeply embedded in her soul. Young and self-taught, Khea is fearless when it comes to her gifting as both vocalist and songwriter. Her vocals easily convey what lies deep within and her heartfelt lyrics are emotionally charged, binding you into a realm that one wishes never to leave.

Khea’s vision is distinct and deeply rooted. Her gentle and unforgettable presence discreetly demands attention where ever she performs. She is determined to engrave her sensitive and unique style, deep into the heart and soul of all audiences both young and old alike. Her love affair with jazz is self evident during her performances on the stages she graces. Her musical education to date includes various artistic interpretations synonymous with Blues, R&B and the Classics by definition.

Khea has performed in the presence of such greats as Anne Margaret, VIP Black Tie honouring her life time achievements, also paving the evening for the renowned Janice Mitchel, former back ground vocalist for the late great Ray Charles. Khea has performed on numerous occasions accompanied by LMT Connection; a known funk group headed up by her father Leroy Emmanuel whom is a world renowned Motown artist. Her performances have included an audience with the likes of Peter Fonda, Edward Greenspan, and hip hop recording artist Karl Wolf.

Khea performed to a sold out crowd in her home town Niagara Falls, Canada. Her self-released music video (Know Thyself) followed by an invitation to a live to air performance; which led Khea to headlining an annual Gala for chartable organization (Project Share) which raised in excess of $168,000.00 for the less fortunate. Toronto was wowed by the Blue Tie affair at Westin Harbour Castle in October 2012. A Gala where Khea had the honor of opening the show for the spectacular Natalie Cole.

Khea is currently working on her original album in Los Angeles with Legendary music producer Bob Esty. Bob has coached and produced hit albums for Donna Summer, Barbra Streisand and Cher to name a few.
