Nicholas Mustapha

Fusing together his multiculturalism and musical influences, Nicholas Mustapha creates asound like no other. Joining together the seams of modern jazz, blues, hip hop, Latin and soul music to express the human emotions of love and finding one’s own way. He accredits his piano playing to many of the jazz greats, including Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock. His artistry has not gone unnoticed being nominated for the emerging artist of the year award in 2017 with the Dufferin Council for the Arts, the Gordan and Anne Wragg music scholarship to attend Humber Colleges Music Degree Program and a finalist spot at the Toronto Undergraduate Jazz Festival in 2020.
