Swing Theory – the WNSS Jr. Jazz Combo

Swing Theory is the Junior Jazz Combo from West Niagara Secondary School. Established in the fall of 2024, the group brings together a talented lineup of young musicians: Nico Acheson (drums), Isabella Costa (bass), Julian Gaumond (alto saxophone), Isobel McPetrie (trombone), Clara McNeil (tenor saxophone), and Julia Meyers (piano). These musicians enjoy exploring a wide range of jazz styles—from swing and bebop to blues and Latin—and are developing their ensemble skills through creative collaboration and live performance.
