ABOUT THE SHOW
Presented by the Ridley College Music Department and the TD Niagara Jazz Festival
Brian Katz is an internationally acclaimed guitarist, pianist, recording artist, improviser, composer, and music educator. The aim of this workshop is to introduce and enlighten students further to the amazing world of jazz music. Students will learn through authentic music making with Brian, one of Canada’s very best improvisational guitarists and pianists. Niagara based jazz musicians Peter Shea (Artistic Director of the TD NJF) and Juliet Dunn (Executive Director of the TD NJF) would like to grow the Jazz Festival through education opportunities presented in the public.
