Part TWO:
PORTER and PORTER
featuring the
STU MAC QUARTER
Cole Porter is one of Tin Pan Alley’s most celebrated composers as he was one of the very few that composed the song and wrote the lyrics. His genius is undeniable as he single handedly wrote an incredible and timeless body of work on par with all the greatest of the Tin Pan Alley alumni including the likes of George and Ira Gershwin, Oscar and Hamerstein, Rodgers and Hart to name but a few. In the past, vocalists like Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald loved performing Cole’s music not only for the timeless melodies, but the humor, depth and word play of his iconic lyrics.
A great vocalist lives among us and his name is Stu Mac. Experience Stu’s “buttery” vocals as he croons the best tunes of the late great Cole Porter!
